Alyssa Martino is the VP of Podcasting at FilmNation Entertainment, a leading producer, financier and distributor of award-winning independent film, television, theater, and audio that is a destination for many of the world’s most renowned storytellers. Martino oversees the company’s growing audio division where she is responsible for the development and production of FilmNation’s narrative podcast slate. Recent projects include the Ambie-nominated history series SNAFU, hosted by Ed Helms (THE OFFICE, THE HANGOVER); Signal-Award winner TORCHED, which features dramatic stories from the Olympic stage and beyond, told by Molly Bloom (author of MOLLY’S GAME); and true crime podcast MURDER ON THE TOWPATH, hosted by journalist Soledad O’Brien. The team has a deep slate of exciting projects in production and development.

Before joining FilmNation, Martino served as the associate director of Macmillan’s podcasts where she launched more than a dozen original shows, working on fan favorites like GRAMMAR GIRL and STEAL THE STARS.

Her writing has been featured in The Washington Post and VICE.
